ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Community College (ÍøÆسԹÏ) Athletics is set to host its second annual ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Athletics Holiday Toy Drive, a signature community outreach event dedicated to supporting families across West Tennessee during the holiday season. This year’s drive will take place on Saturday, December 13, from 9 a.m. to noon, or until all toys have been distributed, in the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Gymnasium parking lot at 2046 North Parkway, Jackson, TN 38301. Children must be present in the vehicle to receive a gift.

“We’re grateful to once again host a holiday event that gives back to the families we serve,” said Athletic Director Dr. Kevin Lynum. “Our student-athletes take great pride in serving the community, and this Toy Drive is a meaningful way for us to make a positive impact during the holiday season.”

In 2024, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï served over 300 kids and 100 families during the inaugural Toy Drive. This year, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Athletics looks to make an even larger impact and put as many toys under the tree for families as part of the college’s commitment to serving West Tennessee and bringing joy to families in need. During the Toy Drive, student-athletes will be dressed in festive holiday costumes and distribute toys directly to families as they drive through, creating a fun and memorable experience for children of all ages.

“This Toy Drive reflects ÍøÆسԹϒs commitment to uplifting the communities of West Tennessee,” said ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï President Dr. Carol Rothstein. “I look forward to seeing the joy this event brings to so many families and the smiles on their faces.”

Along with the college’s own fundraising efforts, the college welcomes local businesses, organizations, and individuals to participate in the Toy Drive by donating toys, giving financially through the or through partnership. Those interested in support opportunities can contact Athletic Director Dr. Kevin Lynum at klynum1@jscc.edu

As part of the initiative, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Athletics is also offering free admission to all ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï basketball games for anyone who donates a new, unopened toy for ages newborn to 17. This promotion runs through December 13, giving the community opportunities to support the Toy Drive while cheering on the Green Jays.
